International Exchange

Circus KAOS is in regular exchange with other youth circuses from different regions around the world. Furthermore we are often visited by international circus artists who want to work with us (like for example Sharon Miller 2018).

One of the international groups is Circo FantazzTico from Costa Rica among others, who has visited us last in 2014 and were hosted by “kaOs-families” (before that they already visited Circus KAOS in 2007 and 2009).

In 2014, at the same time as Circo FantazzTico, the Kigamboni Community Center from Tanzania visited Circus KAOS as well. Both groups toured through Austria and Europe at the time. We all visited each other’s shows and besides artistics a lot of active exchange took place.

During the summer of 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2017 Circus KAOS went to Tipar in Romania to work with Romanies- as well as Romanian children at the local children’s and youth house “Casa Tineretului”.

In 2017 the last intercultural circus project took place upon invitation from various townships in South Africa.
